The house
Parfums de Marly was founded in 2009 in Paris (France) by Julien Sprecher. The house takes inspiration from eighteenth-century French court perfumery at the Chateau de Marly, using that historical reference as a backdrop for modern luxury compositions. The brand targets a prestige-adjacent niche audience with strong distribution across international travel retail and selective doors.
The house works with multiple external perfumers and has built a catalog that covers masculine, feminine and shared constructions across oriental, floral and fougere directions. Layton (2016) and Delina (2017) both achieved wide commercial recognition within the niche perfumery retail environment and generated flanker ranges.
On Osmetheca, Parfums de Marly is represented by two fragrances: Layton (2016), composed by Hamid Merati-Kashani, an apple fougere with vanilla structure; and Delina (2017), composed by Quentin Bisch, a peony rose floral.
