Paul Parquet (1856-1916) was a French perfumer and co-owner of the house of Houbigant from 1880 with banker Alfred Javal. He signed Fougère Royale in 1882, the first major perfume to feature synthetic coumarin and the founding composition of the fougère family, and Le Parfum Idéal in 1900 for the Paris Universal Exposition.
