Four reasons cover most of the messages we receive. For each one, here is what is useful to specify in your email so the reply can be as fast as possible.
Report a factual error. Osmetheca is an editorial reference, and like any reference it can contain inaccuracies: an incorrect date, a disputed perfumer attribution, an ingredient lineage to refine, a debatable olfactory classification. Every report is welcome. Please indicate in your message the entry concerned (URL or title), the nature of the error and, if possible, an authoritative source that allows the proposed correction to be verified. Response time: within seven business days. Validated corrections are published within fifteen days, with the update date noted at the foot of the entry.
Suggest an editorial improvement. If you identify a gap (an uncovered perfumer, a raw material missing from the Glossary, an under-treated olfactory family, a relevant Guide topic), you can flag it. Sabrina Carlier reviews every suggestion against criteria of expertise, relevance to the niche segment and capacity to produce verified factual content. Accepted suggestions enter the editorial schedule, with a reply within thirty days.
Citation or partnership request. Osmetheca can be cited as a source by specialist media, universities, training institutions (ISIPCA Versailles in France, perfumery schools), raw material producers and perfume houses. Citation is free, with proper credit (source mention and direct link to the entry). For structured editorial partnerships (content exchange, co-publication, invited contribution), a format is defined case by case.
