The house
Parfums de Marly was founded in 2009 in Paris (France) by Julien Sprecher. The house draws its references from the court of Louis XV and the stables of the Chateau de Marly near Versailles (France), building an olfactive identity around opulence, horsemanship and a Baroque visual aesthetic. The collection name and packaging deliberately evoke eighteenth-century French luxury craft.
The house works with external perfumers sourced from major composition houses. Perfumers including Quentin Bisch and Hamid Merati-Kashani have contributed compositions. Parfums de Marly distributes through a selective international network of high-end department stores and niche specialty retailers.
On Osmetheca, Parfums de Marly is represented by two fragrances: Layton (2016), signed by Hamid Merati-Kashani, an apple-infused fougere with a warm vanilla and spice base; and Delina (2017), signed by Quentin Bisch, a rhubarb-rose-lychee floral that became one of the house's most commercially visible releases.
