Henri Alméras (1892-1965) was a French perfumer trained at Antoine Chiris in Grasse alongside Ernest Beaux. He composed the 1925 trilogy Amour Amour, Que Sais-Je? and Adieu Sagesse for Jean Patou, Chaldée in 1927 and Joy in 1930, one of the great floral perfumes of the twentieth century.
