Quick answers
History
Gozo, joy, marks a break in Jeroboam's story. For the first time, the Paris house drops its historic black and gold for an orange bottle, a color that, the brochure says, evokes happy memories. The chromatic gesture announces a more solar perfume.
Vanina Muracciole composes a woody, spiced floral, perfectly unisex. The tuberose and saffron up top give a fleshy, spiced flower, cedar, violet leaf and geranium bring wood and green, while the base marries patchouli, musk and a modern note of ambroxan. Unlike the other perfumes, Gozo does not rely on the enigmatic base but on a more luminous musk.
Launched in 2022, Gozo is the perfume that shows the house ready to step outside its own frame. It keeps Jeroboam's power and extrait concentration but puts them at the service of a solar joy rather than a nocturnal sensuality.
Olfactory pyramid
Jeroboam publishes its perfumes in three families of notes. Here is Gozo, exactly as the house presents it in its official brochure.
From top to base, Gozo unfolds its writing, faithful to the notes published by the house.
Olfactory profile
Gozo opens solar and spicy: tuberose and saffron lay down, from the start, a fleshy flower warmed with spice, lit by a bergamot. It is a frank entrance, more joyful than dark.
The heart makes the flower woody: cedar, violet leaf and geranium add green and wood, which keep the tuberose from turning heady. The flower stays broad but controlled, in the unisex spirit the house claims.
The base of patchouli, musk and ambroxan gives a modern, luminous, clean ground, different from the dark musks of the other perfumes. Wear is good, the trail present and radiant. A spiced floriental for spring and summer, unisex, to wear by day or at night.
