History and inspiration

Levant is one of the seven perfumes that launched La Route de la Soie in October 2020, Ormonde Jayne's Silk Road collection for its twentieth anniversary. It takes its name from the Levant, the eastern Mediterranean coast, and renders that sunlit geography as a fresh, luminous floral.

It opens on a bright citrus accord of bergamot, mandarin, tangelo and rose petals, then turns to a transparent floral heart of orange blossom, peony, jasmine and lily of the valley. The base is light and clean, with cedar, amber and musk giving structure without weight.
