History
Filippo Sorcinelli's XSè collection means to be a social inquiry: a perfume can also observe human urges, in all their facets. Each fragrance takes a scene and its atmosphere as its subject, without judgment.
Quickie and Coffee tells of a chance encounter in the restroom of a service station, then the coffee taken on the way out. The house describes its tension and the indifference that follows, the smell of running water and of coffee filling the air: an urban scene, brief, reduced to its sensations.
Sorcinelli states it as a harmonic evolution. The subject is an amber, musky base: amber, ambrette, musks. The counter-subject pulls it toward skin and metal: animalic notes, marine notes, jasmine, saffron. The tail closes it on a dry gourmand: a pine note, a coffee note, honey.

The heart plays on unease: jasmine adds its carnal share, saffron a leathery spice. This is the most tense layer of the perfume, the one that gives the scene its charge, between skin warmth and the cold of tile.
