History of the house
Dries Van Noten is a name from fashion first. The Belgian designer, one of the Antwerp Six, built a house from 1986 known for its prints, materials and sense of contrast. In 2018 the Spanish group Puig became majority shareholder, with the designer staying on as creative director.
In 2022, the house opened its world to fragrance and beauty with a first collection of ten unisex eaux de parfum. Each scent expresses a facet of the designer's eclectic aesthetic, in refillable bottles whose juxtaposed materials, patterns and textures visually translate the idea of duality.
That duality is the house's throughline: an owned contrast between two registers, two colors, two materials, replayed from perfume to perfume. The collection later grew with new releases, including Velvet Violet in 2026, where a green violet stretches toward toasted sesame.
The house entrusts its compositions to a group of respected perfumers, among them Suzy Le Helley, Julien Rasquinet, Nicolas Bonneville, Quentin Bisch, Daniela Andrier, Jean-Christophe Hérault, Fanny Bal, Annick Ménardo and Gaël Montero. It is sold in Dries Van Noten stores and a selective network.
