The perfumer

Daniela Andrier (born 1964 in Heidelberg, Germany) is a senior perfumer at Givaudan and has been the in-house perfumer of Prada since 2003. Before entering perfumery she studied philosophy at the Sorbonne in Paris, France, completed an internship at Chanel in 1988, then joined the Roure school in 1989 before moving to Givaudan (sources: Wikipedia, Fragrantica, Givaudan).

Her name is most closely associated with Infusion d'Iris (Prada, 2007), a powdery iris that launched the entire Les Infusions de Prada collection (Iris 2007, Tubereuse 2008, Fleur d'Oranger 2010, Mimosa, Vetiver, Mandarine, Oeillet, Mughetto, Amande), as well as with Prada Candy (2011) and the more radical Olfactories collection (Prada, from 2014). She also composes for the house of Guerlain, in particular for the haute perfumery collection L'Art et la Matière, launched in 2005.

On Osmetheca, Daniela Andrier is currently represented by one documented Perfume profile, Angélique Noire (Guerlain, 2005). The other compositions cited on this page (Infusion d'Iris, Prada Candy, and the wider Infusions and Olfactories ranges) do not yet have dedicated profiles and will be added progressively, subject to the availability of convergent sources.
