History

Miksado, whose name evokes mixing in Esperanto, lives up to its title: it is a perfume of assembly, where Vanina Muracciole fuses fruit, spice and precious woods. The house brochure calls it a perfume of pure addiction, a phrase that states the program.

Up top, bergamot, labdanum and saffron tie a resinous, leathery entrance. The heart assembles cedar, geranium and guaiac, three woods that give the perfume its spine. The base marries patchouli, vanilla and the enigmatic musks for a warm, gourmand fall.

A member of the first 2015 wave, Miksado was one of the perfumes that got the young house noticed. Specialist press, including CaFleureBon, dwelled on this dense, addictive writing, typical of the way Jeroboam stacks wood and musk in a concentrated format.

Olfactory profile

Miksado opens on a resinous entrance: labdanum and saffron lay down, from the start, an ambery, leathery material that bergamot barely brightens. You know at once the perfume will be warm.

The heart is wood: cedar, guaiac and geranium weave a dry woody frame, virile without being austere. This is the layer that gives the perfume its hold and its readability as a woody oriental.

The base embraces the gourmand: vanilla rounds the patchouli, the enigmatic musks wrap the whole in a warm skin. Wear is excellent, the trail generous. An amber woody oriental for autumn and winter, to wear at night.

Common questions

What does Miksado mean?01
Miksado evokes mixing in Esperanto, in keeping with its construction: an assembly of fruit, spice and precious woods melted into the house musks.
Is Miksado a sweet perfume?02
It is gourmand without being candied. The vanilla base rounds a heart of dry woods (cedar, guaiac) and a leathery top of saffron and labdanum, giving a warm oriental rather than a dessert.
What is its concentration?03
It is an extrait de parfum, in 30 ml and 100 ml like all of the Classic Collection.
Does Miksado last long?04
Yes. Its extrait concentration and its woody-musky base give it excellent wear and a generous trail, especially in the cool.
For which season?05
Autumn and winter above all, and in the evening: the density of woods and vanilla suits cold better than summer heat.
Who composed Miksado?06
Vanina Muracciole, an independent perfumer and author of the whole Jeroboam collection.
