Ambre Royal is composed by Ormonde Jayne, the independent British house founded in 2001 in London (United Kingdom) by Linda Pilkington, whose perfumes are handmade in England.
Ambre Royal takes a time-honoured accord of roses and jasmine, with dashing notes of orange blossom and bergamot, but veers away and deepens with patchouli, cedar wood and a big hearted warm amber molecule, expertly synergised to create a perfectly balanced but hypnotic and opulent perfume. It is a perfume to be treasured and trusted, both strong and sensual, warm but powerful.
Green notes, orange absolute and bergamot open the structure. Jasmine absolute, osmanthus, rose oil, amber, orris butter and orchid oil form the heart, while cedar wood, ambroxan, tonka, patchouli and musk close it. The intent was to take the glamour of an amber perfume from a bygone era and give it a modern, contemporary fresh entrance. Ambre Royal is an Eau de Parfum at maximum strength in the 88 ml format.

In the perfume industry we have come to recognize and describe certain notes as being amber. For example, ambroxan, benzoin, sandalwood are usually used as an interpretation of the smell of amber.
