Kurky appeared in 2025, against the grain of the rest of the house. Its name is a nickname, written on the label in a child's hand, on a peach-lacquered bottle striped like a box of sugared almonds, the kind Francis Kurkdjian received as a boy.
The perfumer claims the intent: "All grown-ups were once children, but only few of them remember it," wrote Saint-Exupery's Little Prince. Kurky is conceived as an antidote to that forgetting, a childhood fragrance meant for adults, in the lineage of the scented bubbles the nose had imagined a few years earlier.
