History
Absolue Pour le Soir appeared in 2010, among the creations Francis Kurkdjian kept for those close to him. The perfumer conceived it as the nocturnal counterpart to Absolue Pour le Matin, a decadent amber inspired by the New York nights of the 1970s.
The composition owns an almost animalic sensuality that reveals itself on skin contact: a sulfurous amber accord unfolds around a seductive, honeyed rose, punctuated by touches of cumin. The amber-vanilla accord, tonka bean and coumarin form a warm, resinous heart, which cistus labdanum carries into the base.
This clear-cut, uncompromising choice made Absolue Pour le Soir a legend of niche perfumery, among the most intense ambers. In 2025 it joins the My VIP, My Very Intimate Perfumes collection, gathered as an exclusive collection and presented in a bottle engraved and signed by hand.

Absolue Pour le Soir seeks no freshness: from the opening, a rose-and-honey accord sets a warm, sweet floral, already turned toward the skin.
The amber-vanilla heart takes over, resinous and enveloping: tonka bean and coumarin add an almond-and-hay softness that rounds the material. It is a dark amber, without clarity or detour.
The base is the signature: cistus labdanum lays down a deep resin, and above all cumin oil slips in an animalic, almost carnal facet that divides as much as it fascinates. Long longevity, dense sillage: a night amber for the cold season, kept for evenings when you want to be noticed.
