History
In 2019, the house declined Amyris homme as an extrait de parfum, the most concentrated form in its range. As with the feminine half, the idea is not to rewrite the fragrance but to deepen its signature: the same woody aromatic around amyris resin and iris, at a higher concentration.
The structure stays that of the 2012 eau de toilette, from mandarin and rosemary to the cedar and tonka base by way of saffron, amyris and iris. What the extrait changes is density, not the list of notes.
In practice, the extrait makes the base deeper: cedar and tonka bean gain footing, amyris gains envelopment, and the aromatic opening turns more muted. The same woody sobriety, but denser, longer-lasting and more at ease at night. An intensification, not a reinvention.

The heart stays faithful to the eau de toilette, leathery saffron, soft amyris and powdery iris, but each note gains hold. The wood turns more serious, the saffron spice more present, without the balance shifting.
The base is where the extrait stands apart most: dry cedar and almondy tonka bean take on a deeper, more tenacious footing, and amyris envelops more. Longevity is clearly higher than the eau de toilette, the sillage more present without excess: an urban woody aromatic, concentrated to last and to carry the evening.
