History
Métarosme appeared in 2026 and extends theme 13, the rose. Within the house’s numbered collection it follows Brûlure de Rose and La Nymphe et le Poète, as the synthesis of their opposites: here the rose loses its flesh to gain light.
The perfume rests on Obsidial®, a signature speciality born from the house’s research. This floral volumising agent is inspired by the scent of Volvic stone warmed by the sun after rain; it diffuses a mineral, watery-floral and spicy warmth. Around it, an abstract rose is transformed, neither vegetal nor carnal, but elemental.
The structure is clear: the rose-meteor accord opens the composition, Obsidial® diffuses its spicy and mineral warmth from top to base, Grisalva adds a saline reverberation, and redwood holds the base for an ambery, enveloping and long-lasting trail. A « meteor rose »: luminous, airy and incandescent. The name, a portmanteau of rose, metamorphosis and osmosis, states that transformation of a flower into luminous matter.

Scent profile
Métarosme is a mineral rose rather than a floral one. Obsidial® gives it a stone-like, almost solar warmth that draws the flower away from its vegetal nature; Grisalva adds a saline, ambery reverberation, redwood a deep footing. The rose is present but abstract, androgynous, held between mineral and balsamic.
Its signature lies in that balance between olfactory technique and poetry, a manifesto of an independent perfumer’s savoir-faire. The trail is enveloping and durable, at once stable like a shape and moving like a wave.
